Prometric Examinations for Saudi-Bound Nurses

The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) now requires the so-called prometric examinations for Saudi-bound nurses. This is similar to licensure examination requirements of the Philippines, USA and Emirates. The exam may be taken in KSA or in test venues in the Philippines.

However, POEA has asked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to delay the implementation of its new test for foreign nurses seeking work there because of its poor dissemination and preparations of its implementation are still underway.

The examination is scheduled Tuesday up to Friday, with a fee of US$90.00.

The Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD) Examinations

The Examination Section has been established to provide a solid foundation for licensing health professionals practicing in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. This is accomplished by providing assessment tools that measure core and specialist competencies required for each professional group.

Registration and Scheduling

1. Create your Pearson VUE web account.
2. You must meet all of the eligibility criteria for your speciality in order for your application to be approved.
3. Pearson VUE will email a username and password to you within 48 hours that you may use to schedule your examination date using the following options:

4. You will receive a booking confirmation by email within 48 hours for the date and location that you will sit the exam. If you do not receive the booking confirmation within 48 hours or if any of the information is incorrect, please contact Pearson VUE immediately at +44 161 855 7378 between 08:00 and 16:00 UK time, Monday to Friday, excluding English Bank Holidays or by email at haadcustomerservices@pearson.com.
5. Print your booking confirmation and bring it with you to the test centre.
