AYNLA invites all young nurse leaders and advocates worldwide furthering their knowledge, skills and enhancing their leadership traits through worthwhile experiences, learning interactions and exchange of best practices from their international counterparts. A Philippine Senate Resolution No. 166 is introduced by Senator Pia Cayetano directing the approprate senate committee to investigate, in aid of legislation on the alleged EXPLOITATIVE PRACTICE OF SOME HOSPITALS THAT EMPLOY REGISTERED NURSES AND NURSING GRADUATES AS “ON-THE-JOB TRAINEES” (OJTs) INSTEAD OF HIRING THEM AS REGULAR EMPLOYEES AND WITHOUT GIVING PROPER COMPENSATION, AND THE ALLEGATION THAT THESE HOSPITALS CHARGE THE NURSES ADDITIONAL FEES FOR TRAINING, WORK EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION.
