Course Description: Seminar to increase knowledge and awareness of nursing students in the roles and responsibilities of a nurse in a Code based on the American Heart Association (AHA) Standards.
Objectives:
1. To increase awareness of Nursing students in the different roles and responsibilities of a Nurse in a Code

b. Defibrillator Operator
c. Compressor
d. Airway Controller
e. Medication Nurse
f. Recorder
2. To gain knowledge in the AHA Emergency Cardiovascular Care
a. Early Access
b. Early CPR
c. Early Defibrillation
d. Early Advanced Care
3. To familiarize students with the must KNOW and must HAVE in a Code
LIMITED SLOTS ONLY!
Fee: inclusive of handouts, snacks and 3 certificates with prc cpe units.
